Tennis Champs® After-school club for St Johns School

A fun-filled after-school club for years 1 & 2 of all abilities, run at St Johns School!

We will offer fun, energetic classes, encouraging teamwork and sharing. The focus will be on improving coordination, movement, agility and motor skills and a core tennis skill will be taught each week such as forehands, backhands, serves, volleys, scoring, rallying, tactics and technique.

We will support the early years and key stage 1 curriculums through our use of coordination, motor skills, number, colour, shape and literacy tasks. In addition, we introduce everyone to fair and gentle competitions and encourage team-work.

Above all, we will have FUN, but it also always blows me away how skills and self-confidence grow each week as Coach Caroline takes time helping each child individually to develop their tennis skills.

This is an 12 week course on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS after school

Dates: from Tuesday 10th / Wednesday 11th September to 3rd / 4th December inclusive.
NO CLUB on 22nd / 23rd October and 29th / 30th October (half term break) and 17th / 18th December (last week of term). Please ensure you make alternative childcare arrangements for these dates.
Times: 3.20 – 4.20 pm
Cost: £90

There are very limited spaces in this club and it is often over-subscribed so complete the form below to reserve your place as these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to children on the waiting list who could not be offered a place last term. Please note, your place will only be secure once you have made FULL payment after I send out the iZettle payment link. The payment link will be sent via text message after 18th August and should be paid within 48 hours.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST WEAR TRAINERS. They should also bring a water bottle, healthy snack and apply suncream & bring a hat for sunnier days.
