🎾 Join the Fun at Our After-School Tennis Club for years 1 & 2! 🎾

Designed for Years 1 & 2 and open to children of all abilities, our exciting after-school tennis club at St John’s School is packed with energy, games, and smiles!

Every session is designed to build confidence while developing essential tennis and movement skills. Through fun activities and team games, children improve their coordination, agility, balance, movement, and motor skills, while learning a new tennis skill each week, including forehands, backhands, serves, volleys, rallying, scoring, tactics, and technique.

Our lessons also support the Early Years and Key Stage 1 curriculum, incorporating number, colour, shape, literacy, and coordination challenges into engaging tennis-based activities. Children are introduced to friendly competition in a positive environment that encourages teamwork, kindness, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Most importantly… we have FUN! 🎉

It’s always wonderful to see how much each child grows in confidence and ability from week to week. Coach Caroline takes the time to support every child individually, helping them develop not only their tennis skills but also their self-belief and love of being active.

This is an 12 week course on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS after school

Dates: from Tuesday 15th / Wednesday 16th September to Tuesday 8th / Wednesday 9th December inclusive.
NO CLUB on:
- - 8th / 9th September (1st week of term)
  - 27th / 28th October (half term break)
  - 15th / 16th December (last week of term)
Times: 3.20 – 4.20 pm
Cost: £93.00

There are very limited spaces in this club and it is often over-subscribed so complete the form below to reserve your place as these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to children on the waiting list who could not be offered a place last term. Please note, your place will only be secure once you have made FULL payment after I send out the iZettle payment link. The payment link will be sent via text message and should be paid within 48 hours.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST WEAR TRAINERS. They should also bring a water bottle, healthy snack and apply suncream & bring a hat for sunnier days.
